The Shepherd’s hut was originally designed as a complete accommodation and store room for the shepherd while he tended his flock.

Roundhill Shepherd Huts is a small family run business located in the beautiful downland village of East Dean, seven miles from the Cathedral City of Chichester, West Sussex.

The inspiration behind the project was the love of all things country and the desire to keep traditional ways and values in a rapidly changing world.​​

 

Louise Adams and her brother Paul decided to research and construct a range of huts made in the old way, paying attention to detail and achieving a product as close to the original as possible. The huts make a very comfortable and useful extra room for ‘sleep-overs’, an office, a studio, a guest room or just more space.

 

Sturdy construction means a lifetime of usefulness and enjoyment. The huts can be customized to meet individual requirements and painted to a colour of your choice. These huts do not require planning consent and are fully mobile.
